Love this wallet!

Misleading description

Bought this under the impression it was a trifold. It is a bifold with a flip out. There is also a gummy goo that keeps oozing on the outside of the wallet. The goo keeps getting bigger and messier. It looks cool but that is as far as I would take it. Would not recommend this to anyone.

great wallet. good quality

My husband love the wallet. It's durable and is comfortable for the pocket. It has enough room for everything to fit Well and it's not too big.

Really great product.

Pictures are making this wallet look like its a trifold. It is a bifold with a flip out. I wish it would of been a trifold. There are a few different makers of these wallets out there, most of them use decommissioned turnout gear and a few offer a place to put a shield but don't offer custom cut outs like the firestore does. I would of rather went with the other companies only if they offered custom cutouts for the shield, because of the used turnout gear gives it more character, and there is a story behind the gear that was used. But im still very satisfied with my wallet and it was still worth the money, and very glad they offer such a wide variety of cutouts.

Q&A's:

"Do these come with the orange and silver triple trim?"

This comes with the yellow/lime triple trim. Orange isn't an option at this time.

"Are these made of actual used bunker gear or is this new material?"

Hi Ben. It's made of brand new bunker gear.

"Can I see a picture somewhere of what a ""shield"" or a ""custom"" looks like. And what is a badge fit number?"

If you go to our web site and look under our search mfg listings you will find Blackinton Badges or Smith & Warren, you will see pictures of badges / shields (some parts of the USA call their badges SHIELDS) You will also see some wallets with badges shown there on both sites, different badge styles will require them to know the style/part number. They all have a number that match's up to the image you see. There are stock ""badges"" with Volunteer on the top line and Firefighter on the bottom line you pick the the color of the badge gold vs. silver, a custom badge is your design of the badge number you pick, by custom they are talking about name of the FD, town, state, rank/title etc. I carry a wallet with a ""cutout for a B293 Blackinton custom badge. The makers of the wallets don't care what the badge has on it, just the style part number mfg of the badge. where I'm from the firefighters don't normally carry a badge with them, but a line officer will, ie fire chief, deputy or assist chiefs. this is long and drawn out answer but I trying to answer your questions the best I could with out causing you more questions.

"Where is the cut-out located?"

Left side.

"If the cut out goes on the left side, does that mean the ID window is removed? In other words would you be able to display badge and ID together?"

Both can be displayed.
