Great sweatshirt. Comfortable, durable & warm. Highly recommend. Well worth the price for such a high quality American made product.

I would definitely buy this again.

This sweatshirt is awesome. It is very comfortable and warm, perfect for fall and winter days to keep the chill off, but looks good enough to wear off duty too.

Great shirt for the value!

This is a great job shirt for the money!

Made in the USA = QUALITY!!!

I've had this sweatshirt for many years now and it's still holding up very well with lots of use. I've worn it on fire calls under my bunker gear, during training, and casual wear around the station and it's still in great shape for its age. That's the difference between a garment made in China and one made in the USA; QUALITY!! The only thing I don't really like about them is the extra long length. It's a bit annoying sometimes to have such long sleeves. I'm 6' tall and the sleeves on my size small shirt are still too long and bunch up at the wrist, causing the cuffs to push over my hand sometimes, resulting in them being stretched out and now beginning to fray. That is my only gripe about the garment but considering how long I've had the shirt, it's not a deal breaker. I will be buying another one when this one finally kicks the bucket for sure

Excellent product and value!

I bought this job shirt at TheFireStore during a trip through the area in 2002. I still wear it regularly to this day. It has held up incredibly well. The color has faded a little, but hey, it has been washed regularly for 14 years. I have worn it fishing, traveling, for casual wear, working in the yard, and oh yeah, running calls. If this one ever wears out, I will definitely buy another one.

Sleeve cuffs are junk

I have two Union Line sweatshirts and the cuffs on both of them are ripped and fraying. I do not roll my sleeves up ever yet they're also all stretched out. At $52+ a piece, I will not be purchasing again

"What is the shrinkage percentage with this item? It will be worn by a 6 foot 2 inch person and am concerned about length after washing."

The fabric is pre-washed at the factory so shrinkage will be minimal (no more than 3%) if care instructions are followed. Wash cold, hang dry or low heat for drying.

"Does this version of the job shirt have elbow reinforcements?"

This model does not have the denim elbows. If you want the model with the denim collar and elbows you need P/N 10036-size, and we stock both models.

"Is there a difference in the weight, or thickness between this model and the one with denim?"

the fleece is the same weight for both - the same fabric is used

"The original job shirt(10036) states it is a 20 oz. heavyweight fabric. This model (10070) states it is made from a 11 oz blend. Are the two made of the same fabric?"

looking into this, both are incorrect. based on the vendor specs, the fabric used for both job shirts today is 80% cotton / 20% polyester, the weight is 12 oz. I have advised our web team so the correction is made.

"It says it's a ""Navy"" color, from the picture it looks black is the job shirt actually Navy blue in color?"

This job shirt is navy, but a darker shade of navy.

"How does it fit? I'm 6' tall and wear a size 36 pant. I have a 5.11 work shirt now that is size large but it feels a little big sometimes. I'm afraid that getting a medium might be too small. Thoughts?"

I feel that 5.11 runs bigger than most other job shirts. If you are getting this job shirt customized then I suggest ordering a blank Medium and Large job shirt to test the size first.
